I'm in Prince George this week and have had the chance to check out the venues for the 2019 ANWG conference- Confluences . I've seen the Civic Center, the gallery in the library where local art will hang, Two Rivers Art Gallery where the felting classes will be held, the two hotels with blocks of rooms for participants, the class/seminar rooms, vendor hall, socials and more. All of this is surrounding a square and the total walking time between the buildings is about two minutes. You are going to have to work to make your steps on your Fitbits.The list of instructors and classes are promising a fun time for all. Plan a few extra days as the parks in and near to Prince George are beautiful. My personal favorites are the Ancient Forest , Cottonwood Island Nature Park and Mount Robson The weather this time of year is beautiful. It is warm during the day and cool at night. Flowers are everywhere and gorgeous. I hope to see you here next year.
